NICHOLAS is the strength behind Climb for Cure. His compassion, courage and conviction has inspired me to "Be The Change I Want To See In The World." Nick was an extraordinary boy who taught me everything I really need to know about life. At the age of five he was diagnosed with a Medulloblastoma brain tumor and overcame most of life's challenging obstacles. After undergoing brain surgery Nick was temporily paralysed unable to talk, walk, eat or move and miraculously relearned everything as if starting all over. During cancer treatment we stayed at the Ronald McDonald house in Boston and the David's house in NH. Nick bravely fought a year and a half for his life at many hospitals including Boston Children's Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Center, Mass General and Dartmouth Medical Center CHAD. During his Climb he always smiled, laughed, played and kept going no matter what. His spirit touched many lives...family, friends and community bringing people together working to save his life. In his memory we will continue to climb for cure.

Everyday that goes by I'm thankful I was blessed to have my son Nick in my life as long as I did. Nicholas left a piece of himself in my heart & soul which is my driving force to
make a difference.  Owning an Outdoor Adventure Fitness company, it makes perfect sense to combine what I love with the passion for climbing toward a cure. I believe anything is possible and am committed to take on this quest so every child with cancer has hope. Please Climb for childhood cancer to support the dream that someday the world's children will all be cancer free.
I DOUBLE DARE YOU!!
